Peptides and proteins are frequently formulated to extend their half-life and therapeutic window. Long-acting injectable formulations often employ polymers and other excipients. However, these components undergo significant changes in the physiological environment post-administration. The project investigates the complex interplay between peptide structure, crystallization, formulation, and the injection site as well as its impact on therapeutic performances.
